Then it is shot with an electric current, which triggers an electrochemical reaction. In result a thin layer of gold is deposited on the surface of such piece of jewelry. Some people refers to such items as the fake gold jewelry, but you need to be aware of the fact, that the layer covering the base metal is made of real gold. |
