ARUSHA Air Vapormax Plus Black , Tanzania, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- A fire of unknown origins raced through the largest outdoor market in south-western Tanzania's city of Mbeya, destroying the livelihood of its many vendors.
Merchandises worth millions of shillings, the Tanzanian currency, have gone up in flames.
The market which is popularly known as 'Sido market' is located nearly five kilometres from Mbeya City centre and 25km from Songwe International Airport.
Images on social media outlets show how the Tuesday night fire was devastating. The fire began at around 10 pm (local time) and was barely extinguished by Wednesday morning.
Eyewitnesses said the cause of the fire is yet to be known, blaming poor road infrastructures Air Vapormax Plus White , which hindered fire rescue team to extinguish the fire on time.
Built six years ago, the market with nearly 4,000 kiosks was popular for selling a wide-range of goods from clothes to electronic gadgets in wholesales and retails.
William Ntinika, Mbeya District Commissioner said that the market was a business hub as it involves traders from across the region and neighbouring countries like Zambia and Malawi.
"This fire is a big blow to traders and the government at large. Many traders have been depending on doing business at this market to run their families....this accident has shuttered their dreams," the official said.
Reacting to the catastrophe, Mbeya Regional Commissioner Air Vapormax Plus Sunset , Amos Makalla blamed arsonists and economic saboteurs who will be found out, he warned, wherever they are hiding.
Makalla said the loss caused by a fire which gutted Sido Market in Mwanjelwa area is immense.
Mohammed Mpinga, Mbeya Regional Police Commander said that no one has been arrested in connection with the fire. Police, according to Mpinga, has launched an investigation into the cause of the fire which has affected more than 3 Air Vapormax Triple Black ,000 vendors.
He, however, said no death was reported in the accident, which left traders in tears.
This is the second time for the market to go up in flames after the first one occurred in 2011.

The International Monetary Fund yesterday cut its projection for China's growth this year to 6.8 percent from the previous estimate of 7.1 percent made in January.
"This slowing is partly structural," the IMF said in its latest publication "Asia and Pacific's Outlook" due to diminishing returns from past reforms.
"Potential growth has declined even though China remains a middle-income country on a per capita basis, while weakness in the real estate and credit sectors has risen Air Vapormax Triple White ," the report said.
China's economic growth slowed to 7 percent in the first three months, the weakest quarterly expansion in six years after growing 7.4 percent in 2014.
The slowdown has prompted the central bank to make surprising cuts to both interest rates and bank reserve requirement ratio in the past two months.
Although China's growth has eased "faster than expected," the country is on track to more sustainable expansion, the IMF said.
"Following three decades of remarkable growth, China's economy is slowing as rebalancing continues.
"While still outperforming most other large economies, China's growth rate is expected to continue to edge lower over the medium term as rebalancing proceeds Air Vapormax Black ," it said.
The IMF predicted China's economic growth to ease to 6.8 percent this year and to 6.3 percent in 2016 as the correction in the property and related sectors continues to drag on investment.
"The challenge for China is to find new, sustainable engines of growth while managing weakness generated under previous policies," IMF said, adding that China's path to stable growth is essential for the rest of the world.
Last month, the World Bank Group projected China's economic growth to ease to around 7 percent in 2015 and 2016. The Asian Development Bank in March forecast growth may cool to 7.2 percent this year and 7 percent in 2016.
