Hello all, we just had a baby and I am recording several Gigs of data a day. Recently, I bought the newest Canon Vixia HF G40 and use it shoot some playing videos which recorded in MTS and MP4 format. However, when I try to import the files into FCP X for editing, I have met some issues: there seems not to be recognized by FCP X, because I found I can’t edit them in FCP X at all, besides, I found it took me lots of time for rendering when I import video from Canon Vixia HF G40 to FCP X. Is there any solution to my issue? Is there a way for me to archive the work without any quality loss. Some people advise me to convert my video format to FCP X? I want to know if I have this need. Please help me, thanks!
